The Hub at Auburn

the check in process was awesome - smooth and easy, well organized, loved having the drinks and snacks there. However, the apartment that my son moved into was in terrible shape! Very disappointing. I have placed several maintenance orders, and that’s just for the major stuff. Carpet smells terribly of cat urine, broken and moldy window in the main living room, terrible terrible mold over the air conditioning vents in the living room, door to my sons room is broken, window blinds were not able to be put up. Super disappointing.

Eli did an amazing job at having everything ready to go when I walked in. He was very informative and made the move in easy and fast. He also is a very nice young man. *****edited for updated review***** 4 months after moving in, I REGRET EVER SIGNING THOSE PAPERS! My interaction with Eli still stands. However, the condition of my daughters apartment is unacceptable! Horrible conditions and THIS WILL BE HER LAST MONTH HERE.

Management is trash! Property manager STAR calls around telling tenants business to others (More than once at that). She should not be contacting anyone outside the lease informing them on whats going on with a tenant in the residence! Also a Manager in office (Kimberly) is bestfriends with one of the tenants who promised her a full year of apartment to self therefore any false claims can be made against anybody who moves in with her and everything she says is believed, girl who cries wolf. Wrongfully billed charges!! Apartment was not clean before move in, very filthy and foul smell at its finest. Multiple complaints about roommate being filthy along with a pet she doesn’t care for who freely destroys others things, nothing was done. Roommate smokes and drinks everyday but has a friend in office so she is free to do whatever. No access to corporate number. I have receipts and proof of alot of things. Also paid my rent November but statements says i owe $200+ more?? Manager Kimberly informed me on move in that rent is $745 and my utilities will all be included in rent which would cause an up charge on the rent(understandable) but i still have been charged a separate utility bill and utility in my rent??? They bill and charge for anything just to get money. And since when can they change your locks and only tell the roommate and give her a key. Both parties should have been informed! I highly wouldn’t recommend The HUB only if you’re willing to go through poor management and favortism.
